Studio Theatre Untangling knotted business relationships in NETWORKNOTWORK

Robert Zarywacz, Studio Theatre member and author of NETWORKNOTWORK

A weekly breakfast meeting for local business people is the setting for NETWORKNOTWORK a new comedy with its first performances given by Studio Theatre at Ilfracombe College from Wednesday 16th to Saturday 19th November 2005.

Written by member Robert Zarywacz and featuring a cast of 13 NETWORKNOTWORK focuses on how people strive against the destructive power of burning ambition, personal weakness and odd character traits to build relationships that will drum up more business for themselves.

Meet the colour consultant who not only wants to change your dress sense, but run your life for you; the fiery PR lady who manages her clients by shouting at them down her mobile phone; the property developer without planning permission for his middle-aged spread; the health-food distributor with constant nasal congestion; the financial adviser with his eyes on your investments for his own profit; and the friendly craftsman who is as solid as his furniture, but has none of its polish.

Thrown together every week, they squabble and complain, gossip and plot, but this week could their long-awaited crisis unravel before their special guest?

While BANG up-to-date and firmly based in the modern world of business and individual entrepreneurs, NETWORKNOTWORK proves that, for all the technology, jargon and slick presentation of the 21st Century, people behave just the same as they always have done – providing entertainment and comedy for everyone.
